Ronnie "Rabbit" Foster, 67, of Lancaster, South Carolina, departed this life on May 18, 2025. Born on October 14, 1957, in Lancaster, he was the beloved son of the late Albert Foster and Ruby May Foster.
He earned his high school diploma through the Lancaster County School District. A dedicated and hardworking man, Ronnie spent many years as a machine operator employed by Springs Industries at "The Bleachery." He also served his country with pride and commitment in the United States Army Reserve for 15 years.
Ronnie was known for his easygoing nature and love of the outdoors, especially fishing one of his favorite pastimes. His presence was a comfort to many, and his kind heart will be missed by all who knew him.
Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory: three sons, Alrondo (Tammy) Taylor of Lincoln, NE; Jemario (Carriena) Foster of Charlotte, NC; and Albert Gene Foster of Pageland, SC; and a stepson, Clinton Seabrook of Lancaster, SC. He is also survived by three sisters, Peggy Foster of Rock Hill, SC, and Frances Foster and Sylvia Foster, both of Lancaster, SC; and one brother, Frank Foster of Lancaster, SC. His life companion, special friend, and caregiver, Elizabeth Seabrook Green, stood by his side with unwavering love and care. Ronnie also leaves behind nine grandchildren, along with a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ruby May Foster, his wife, Cathy Ann Foster, three sisters, Darlene Crawford, Sharlene Foster, and Judy Moore, and two brothers, Michael Foster and Jessie James Foster.
