Sammie Wade, a son of the late Harry O.W. and Hester Young Wade was born July 4, 1930 in Lancaster   SC.

Survivors include: (Partner) Barbara Wilson of Baltimore Md., Four sons, Lynn Wade of Lancaster SC, Pondus of Newport News Va., Dwayne of Lancaster, SC, Bryant Wade, of Baltimore Md., three sisters, Janie Mobley of Chicago, IL., Betty McGriff, Linda McCray Walker both of Lancaster, SC, two brothers, Terry Wade of Washington, DC, William Wade of Lancaster, SC. Grandson Julius Wade of Lancaster, SC, Granddaughters: Asha, Mylika, Jayla and Kenya Newport News Va. Great Grands: Brijae and Breauna of Baltimore Md., Amaya, Aden, Mayzie of Newport News Va., Julius II, Kamire of Lancaster SC.
