Scottie Haile Obituary

Scottie Haile, a son of the late Roosevelt Haile, Sr. and the late Alene Kirkland Haile, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and music that touched the hearts of many.  He was born April 24, 1966 in Lancaster, SC.

He was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a 1984 graduate of Lancaster High School.  He was a warehouse supervisor for Pinnacle Pharma, LLC and was a dedicated employee.

Scottie was a devoted servant of God, a beloved member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church and the House of Prayer he was deeply rooted in his faith and love for the church community. As a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church, he found joy in worship and fellowship, always striving to serve others with humility and compassion. At the House of Prayer, Scottie served as a dedicated Deacon, a role that allowed him to minister to others with wisdom, guidance, and love.

Music was the heartbeat of Scottie’s soul. He served as Choir Director at the House of Prayer, and  at Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church , the Youth Choir and Willing Travelers where he led with passion, inspiring others to lift their voices in praise. As a member of the Golden Angels Choir, his voice soared, bringing joy and comfort to those who listened. Whether directing or singing, Scottie’s love for music was a reflection of his deep connection to God and his desire to uplift the spirits of others through song.

A devoted Dallas Cowboy fan, Scottie’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will be remembered by all who knew  him. He leaves behind a loving church family, friends, and relatives who were blessed by his service and dedication.

His devotion to his faith, his love for music, and his generous spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched.

Rest in peace, Scottie Haile. Your voice, your heart, and your service to God will never be forgotten.  His memory is survived by his two daughters, Scottia Haile and Dylandra Haile from Rock Hill, SC, four brothers, Roosevelt Haile Jr., Rev. Ricky L. Haile (Darlene), Joseph Haile (Patricia) all of Lancaster, SC, Clayton Haile (Melanie) of Indian Trail, NC, two sisters, Sherylene Benson (Curtis) of Lancaster, SC, Demetrious Williams of Fort Lawn, SC, three grandchildren, SalajahDuncan, Tyler Haile, Taylor Wilson all of Rock Hill, SC,   three god children, Dimaya Jones of Lancaster, SC, Dimiao Jones of Atlanta, GA, Clayton Haile Jr of Charlotte, NC and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ira Lee Haile, Cecil James Haile, Jeffrey Lynn Haile, a sister, Betty Ann Hailem a granddaughter , Taylee Nichols
