Sharon Belk Watts, humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Atrium Health in Pineville, North Carolina. A daughter of the late Waddie Belk Jr/ and the late Artie Mae Kirkland Belk was born October 14, 1962 in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Sharon accepted Christ and at an early age was a member of Lifeline Ministry in Lancaster, SC. She accepted her duties as a responsible member. She truly loved God as well as her church family and was a faithful member. She helped with Children’s Ministry, Daughters of Promise Single Ministry and enjoyed being a Door Greeter.
She loved her family in which she was a mother to two children fathered by Edward Jarron Watts.
Sharon was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a 1980 graduate of Lancaster High School. She was an Office Manager for DHEC and retired after many years of dedicated service.
Sharon had a caring soul with a lovable spirit. She found peace in reading, listening to music, helping others and above all being with her grandchildren. Sharon always demonstrated a beautiful smile that she often displayed and greeted people with, especially when they visited her home. A loving mother and grandmother in which she enjoyed being. Going to church and being a community care giver was her mission. A strong woman of faith that held her family and many others together she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
