Stephanie L. Haggins

Stephanie Ladonna Denise Haggins, humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in Lancaster, South Carolina.  A daughter of the late Fred James Sistare and the late Helen Mae Haggins was born September 23, 1964 in Lancaster County, South Carolina.

Stephanie accepted Christ at an early age and was reared in a Christian home.  

Stephanie was a graduate of Lancaster High School Class of 1982 and continued her education at the University of South Carolina Lancaster.

She was employed for 23 years at the Lancaster Convalescent Center as a healthcare aide.  She was very passionate about taking care of people in which she provided private homecare services as well as childcare.

  Stephanie had a caring soul with a lovable spirit.  She always demonstrated a beautiful smile that she often displayed and greeted people with, she nevermet a stranger. A loving mother and grandmother in which she enjoyed cooking, dancing and singing. A strong woman of faith that held her family and many others together she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  

    Left to cherish these and other memories are a son, Demario Hilton of Lancaster, SC,  a daughter, Nikita Hilton of Lancaster, SC, three brothers, Donald Ray Haggins, Curtis L. Frazier both of Lancaster, SC, Fred Sistare Jr. (Cinda) of Temple Hill, Md, eleven sisters, Marilyn Haggins (Freddie), Angela Barber, Lanette Barber, Artimisha Foster, Patty Stevens (Rick), Angela Frazier (Andre) all of Lancaster, SC, Susan Barber of Kings Mountain, NC, Derdera Sistare, Donna Sistare both of Washington DC, Louise Duncan (James) of Columbia, SC, two grandchildren, Demario Hilton Jr., D’Kyla Hilton of Lancaster, SC, life companion, Richard Hilton – Richard Williams, special friend, Michelle Steward Pickett, Lisa Reid, God Daughter, Lewisha Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Markevious Haggins, three brothers, Calvin Sistare Sr., Greg Sistare, James Barber, two sisters, Darlene Sistare, Diane Sistare, Niece, Shalonda Frazier
