Teresa Dianne Honeycutt Massey, age 51, of Lancaster, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 26, 2026.
She was born on December 26, 1974, in Lancaster, SC, to Doris Honeycutt and the late Dewey W. Honeycutt. Teresa attended Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church and Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, both of Lancaster, SC. She was united in holy matrimony to Willie Lewis Massey.
Teresa was a 1995 graduate of Lancaster High School and was employed by White Oak Manor. She was a woman full of life who found joy in cooking and baking, riding horses, swimming, listening to music, and getting dressed up—always taking pride in her makeup and hair. She was a devoted Washington Redskins fan, but above all, Teresa treasured spending quality time with her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Willie Lewis Massey of Lancaster, SC; one daughter, Brianna Williams (Quinton) of Lancaster, SC; two sons, Tiran Jones of Lancaster, SC, and Tyrike Massey of Heath Springs, SC; two brothers, Dewey Honeycutt of Winston-Salem, NC, and Jonathan Honeycutt of Norwood, NC; three sisters, Tabitha Davis of Albemarle, NC, Tisha Honeycutt (Irving) of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Naomi Riddley of Lancaster, SC; and nine beloved grandchildren: Alena Massey, Ni’Aiyla Wright, Niyalise Wright, ZilandJones, Stormi Jones, Tempest Jones, Harmony Shannon, Antonio Taswell Jr., and Khole Mobley.
She also leaves behind special friends who held a dear place in her heart: Regina McIlwain, Barbara Stover, and Michelle Blair.
In addition to her father, Teresa was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Honeycutt; her paternal grandparents, Bruce and Ruth Honeycutt; and her maternal grandparents, Henry and Annie Martin.
Teresa will be remembered for her loving spirit, vibrant personality, and the deep love she had for her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
