Timothy Hemphill, age 57, of Lancaster, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on May 18, 2025. He was born on June 29, 1967, in Lancaster to Laura Anthony and Edward Harris.
Timothy was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a dedicated employee of Kirk’s Body Shop, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly spirit. A true enthusiast of life’s simple joys, Timothy was a devoted Carolina Panthers fan and found great pleasure in the thrill of racing. He could often be found at the Lancaster Race Track, enjoying the speed, excitement, and camaraderie it brought.
More than anything, Timothy loved his family. His laughter, loyalty, and presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Laura Anthony (Tyrone) of Lancaster, SC, his father, Edward Harris of Lancaster, SC, five loving sisters: Tammy Palmer of Baltimore, MD; Wanda McKinney (Michael), Stacey Cureton, Latoya Blair (Michael), and SameraLockhart (Michael), all of Lancaster, SC. He also shared a special bond with his godson, Manny, who held a cherished place in his heartand a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Timothy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Annie Mae and Willie Hemphill, who helped shape the man he became.
Timothy’s life was one marked by love, laughter, and loyalty. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love him.
