Willie White Obituary

Willie Elvin "Jack" White, 83, of Lancaster, SC, entered eternal rest on February 5. 2025. Born on April 3, 1941 in Liberty Hill, SC to the late Charlie White and the late Amelia Robinson White. Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Jack was a man of many talents and simple joys. He had a special knack for working on cars, turning wrenches with skill and dedication. He found peace and satisfaction in cutting grass, a task he often turned into an art of precision and care. Fishing was another of his favorite pastimes, where he found comfort in the stillness of the water and the thrill of a good catch.

He was employed by Springs Industries and retired after many years of dedicated service. Above all, Jack's greatest joy came from loving and spending time with his family.

He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Peggy Caskey White, with whom he shared decades of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Together, they built a life rooted in faith, commitment, and devotion.

Jack is survived by his wife, Peggy Caskey White of Lancaster, SC, a daughter, Johnnie Mae Moon(Wayland Sr.) of Clinton, SC, two sons, Jessie

J. White (Maria) of Lancaster, SC, James E. White (Debbie) of Charlotte, NC, four sisters, Beatrice McGriff, Darlene WhiteMingo, Cathy White Henry, Christine White Davis all of Lancaster, SC, a brother, Scott White (Bessie) of Lancaster, SC, six grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charlie White Jr., Robert

White, Rufus White, John William White

Jack's memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He was a man who found joy in the simple things, and his life serves as a reminder of the beauty in hard work, family, and faith. May he rest in eternal peace.
