Willie Robert James Jr.

(Lancaster) Willie Robert James Jr., 68, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019.  Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM, Crawford Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kenneth Cauthen and Rev. James E. Gordon will officiate. Burial in the Beaver Creek AME Zion church cemetery. Viewing will be Friday, June 28, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM Crawford Funeral Home.

Willie Robert James Jr, a son of Odessa Champion James and the late Willie Robert James Sr. was born in Camden, SC, November 18, 1950. He was married to Phyliss Gaither James.

Left to cherish loving memories are  his wife, Phyllis G James of Lancaster, SC, his mother, Odessa Champion James of Bridgeport, CT, three step- son,  Jimmie Ray Kave  Sr. of Louisville, Kentucky  , William Demont Jackson (Tamaica) of Lancaster, SC, Jimmie  “Benz”  Kave Jr.  of Shelton, CT, three step daughters, Krista Blackmon of Lancaster, SC, Janice Myers (Samuel Jr.) of Columbia, SC, Alisia Cabral Kingston (Kenneth ) of Bridgeport,  CT. ,  two brothers, Joseph Eugene James (Ernestine) of Lancaster, SC, Benjamin Rowe Jr. of Trunbull,  CT , two sisters, Cynthia  Rowe  of Seymour, CT, and Veronica McDowell of North Carolina, sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Michael Cundiff Sr., special friend, Leroy Love of Kershaw, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
