Woodrow "KT" Patterson was born on October 19, 1940, in Lancaster County, South Carolina, to the late Roosevelt Patterson and the late Etta Bell Gamble Patterson. He peacefully departed this life on July 7, 2025.
KT retired as a dedicated supervisor for Leroy Springs Golf Course. Affectionately known as "Pac Man" for his love of the game, he brought joy wherever he went. He enjoyed bowling. playing Pac Man, and most of all, spending cherished time with his family. His warm spirit, quick wit, and genuine care for others will be forever remembered.
He leaves behind precious memories to be cherished by his daughters: Lisa Cunningham (Robert Earl) of Lancaster, SC, Tammy Patterson of Lancaster, SC, and Laqueshia Jacobs (Jerico Boulware) of Chester, SC; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
KT was preceded in death by four sisters: Melzetta Frazier, Betty Ruth Caskey, Randy Jane Coven, and Betsy Lee Twitty; two brothers: Robert Patterson and Willie Patterson; life companion: Maggie L. Jacobs His legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
