OBITUARY

David “Fishbone” Harris Sr.

David “Fishbone” Harris, 71, died Sunday,  May 22, 2022  Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 2:00 P.M , Crawford Funeral Home Chapel,  Rev. Dorothy McIlwain will officiate . Burial in the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

David “Fishbone” Harris Sr., a son of the late Johnny Leroy Harris and the late Ellen Ree Harris Smith was born August 28, 1949 in Lancaster, SC.  He was married to Arlevia Carter Harris.

Survivors include his wife Arlevia Carter Harris of Lancaster, SC, three sons, Woodrow David Harris Jr. of Kannapolis, NC, Donnie Jermaine Harris of Heath Springs, SC, Joe Carter of Lancaster, SC, two daughters, ShaTiya Catoe and Tina Thompson both of Lancaster, SC, one brother, Clarence Alexander of Lancaster, SC, six sisters, Lisa H. Davis, Lucille Gainey, Vernell Crawford, Donna Heath, Joan H. Wade all of Lancaster, SC, Reta Mae Jones of Rock Hill, SC, nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
